The Information & Assistance (I&A) / Aging and Disability Resource Center (ADRC) process presents an ideal opportunity to collect information about oral health. This Senior Center Dental Program sponsored by SE-ALTC provides dental services (screenings, cleanings, and fluoride treatments) to seniors who would not otherwise be able to afford these services, on a free or donation basis. (more…)
Seattle/King Country Aging and Disability Services submitted this example of how they were able to provide a holistic plan to integrate oral health and community services for the agency’s long-term care clients and those clients enrolled in the King County Care Partners Program. By working collaboratively with community partners, they were able to address oral hygiene issues.
